About GREEY EPC Inc.
1121821 Ontario Inc.
began in 1995 by Steve Greey as
GREEY Electrical Products
to sell SCADA (
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition
) plus related
technology
products to electric utilities.
GREEY Computers
was created at the same time to assemble custom PCs, laptops, servers and high end workstations for utilities.
Greey Networks
was later added to provide on-site computer and network support to small businesses in the Toronto area.
The corporate name was changed to
GREEY EPC Inc.
which stood for
E
lectrical
P
roducts
and
C
omputers.
However, the computer and network portion of the business stopped taking on new customers in May 2008 when the Chesswood office was closed.
In 2005,
GREEY EPC
signed a one year sales and marketing contracts with two suppliers.
GREEY EPC
then signed a contract with S&C Electric Canada Ltd. as they launched IntelliRupter® in Canada. This contract formally ended December 31, 2022.
In 2014 Ruth Greey joined
GREEY EPC
after a very successful 32 year career at Hydro One (formerly Ontario Hydro). Until 2017, Ruth consulted on electric utility regulation assisting electric utilities.
Since March 2025
GREEY EPC
has been under contract with
CEATI
for the role of
Technical Advisor DEP (Distribution Equipment and Planning)
.
